Tricia Phillips CCCE
Tricia is a Certified Cooperative Childbirth Educator and mother of three energetic children. Meeting the ever-present and everlasting life force of motherhood during the labor of her first child completely re-framed her life. Since becoming a mother, Tricia knows that all mothers, regardless of how they birth, are Wonder Women. Mothers are the life sustaining force of their families and deserve the profound right to be loved, respected, and taken care of during their labor and birth and postpartum phase. They especially deserve to know how labor and birth unfolds, and what options and choices they have during their experience.
Tricia's life experience with teaching deaf children, running a business, and parenting has provided her with a full tool belt for preparing couples for birth of their baby. She is passionate about teaching because she deeply believes in the power that birth offers parents in the journey of life. She strongly believes that learning to listen to your gut when preparing for the birth of your baby is the first act of parenting.
Tricia lives in Bay Ridge with her husband and three children and teaches a 5-week series out of her home.
